TIP TO FIND THE SIZE OF YOUR CHAIN

For women, the standard dimension is 45 cm. In men, the standard dimension of a chain measures most often between 50 cm to 60 cm.

However, be aware that the perfect length for a necklace is a totally subjective element, since the ideal length of the chain also depends on the morphology of the person who carries it. It will depend on your neck turn, the shape of your shoulders and your size.

Fidget : For a man the chain arrives at the bottom of the neck; For a woman is the classic length of a necklace.
50 cm : This is the standard chain length for men. It goes down to the claviculies. For a great woman, this length may be suitable.
55 cm : There are rarely longer chains for a man. It stops just below the clavicles.
60 cm : In women, we are already talking about necklace. For a man, this length remains standard, the chain will stop just above the sternum.
70 cm And +: In men, 70cm channels are more intended for a connected bling bling look or a length of a rosary. For women, it's big necklace.

If you do not have a chain and want, before purchase, determine your ideal chain length then follow these steps:

Step 1: Place a long piece of string behind your neck.
Step 2: Bring both ends on your chest.
Step 3: Place a mark at where you would like the pendant to fall.

This is where the pendant summit is. A string will be higher because it will not be in a pendant. The distance between the marks for your length.

PS: You can also find the size of your collar using a tape meter in front of a mirror.

If you already have a chain that you like:
EdTighten it in a straight line on a flat surface and measure its total length by including the two element of the clasp to determine your size.

Our advice: The ideal length of a chain also depends on the morphology that carries it. For example, a man with a strong and thick neck should avoid short and fine chains. It is better to privilege a massive jewel and long enough to be seen. The same goes for large women, to whom it is advisable to choose a fairly long chain. Svelles or relatively small women may turn to a short chain and fine. In any case, know that it is usually recommended to avoid long clamps if you are small and short chains if you are tall. The goal is that the jewel sees itself and highlight your neck and bust.

A last element to take into account when buying a chain is the width of the chain. The bigger the width, the more stands out. If you prefer a more subtle look to your channels, then opt for a small width, but if you really want to make a statement, get a very thick chain like a diameter of 10mm or more.

Buy your favorite channels :)
